Is FixCore safe?
Short answer: yes. FixCore is built so you can see, understand and undo everything it does. Here’s exactly how it works, what data it uses, and how to check you have the genuine app.
What is FixCore?
FixCore is a Windows 10 and 11 app from fixcorepc.com that scans your PC, explains in plain language what’s slowing it down, and helps you fix it. It brings together general tweaks, fix & repair tools, BIOS optimization, graphics tweaks, Game Boost, a game library, networking tools, startup app control, debloating, System Restore and a before/after benchmark in one lightweight app.
FixCore 2.1 is a one-time $15 purchase with no subscription. NettBoost ($5) is a companion app that lowers in-game ping by routing traffic through a dedicated relay. Support runs through the official FixCore Discord.
How FixCore keeps your PC safe
Runs on your PC
Scans and fixes run locally. Your files, settings and scan results stay on your computer.
Everything can be undone
Every tweak switches off the same way it switched on, and System Restore can roll Windows back.
You decide what changes
Nothing is changed until you choose it. No fake “critical errors” to scare you into buying.
No bundled software
The installer installs FixCore and nothing else: no toolbars, adware or extra programs.
Secure payments
Payments go through Stripe. Your card details are never stored on FixCore’s servers.
Minimal account data
Just your email and Discord basics for your license. FixCore can’t read your messages and never sells data.

Questions about safety
Is FixCore safe to use?
Yes. FixCore runs its scans and fixes locally on your PC, only changes what you choose to change, and every change can be undone. You can switch a tweak off the same way you switched it on, and System Restore can roll Windows back to before you ran anything.
Is FixCore a virus or malware?
No. FixCore is a Windows optimization and repair tool sold at fixcorepc.com. It does not install toolbars, adware or other bundled programs, and it does not upload your files. Some antivirus tools are cautious with new software. If yours warns you, check that the file came from fixcorepc.com/download.html, and you can scan it on virustotal.com for a second opinion.
Can FixCore damage my PC?
FixCore is built so it can't leave you stuck: every tweak is reversible, and System Restore support lets you go back to an earlier state. BIOS Optimization only uses settings your hardware actually exposes, and FixCore skips anything your PC doesn't support.
What data does FixCore collect?
Only what's needed for your account and license: your email address, your Discord user ID, username, avatar and FixCore server roles, and your purchase and license status. Scans run on your PC and their results stay there. FixCore can't read your Discord messages, and your personal information is never sold.
Is it safe to pay on fixcorepc.com?
Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe, a major payment provider. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored on FixCore's servers.
What does FixCore cost?
FixCore 2.1 is a one-time purchase of $15 with no subscription, and it includes free updates for that version. NettBoost is a one-time $5. If you're not satisfied, you can get a refund within 14 days of purchase.
Who makes FixCore?
FixCore is made by a small independent team led by nikla_eh_30 and Dun Dun. Support, updates and announcements run through the official FixCore Discord server.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, at least 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended) and about 200 MB of free disk space. Everything FixCore needs is included in the installer.
